i was curious

not that i even have twenty fics to my name (okay, i do, they’re just…very old now…), but i saw that meridok had posted this 20 first lines thing, so i took a look. there are a few recent little ficlets that are character bios. those all start with NAME+VERB. the fics that i most recently put up on ao3 (uh…by which i mean i wrote two jupiter ascending fics this year and before that the most recent one was the 2013 Yuletide…) start with characters doing stuff, too. i guess i like to start in with the people who are going to be in the story?
